Begins with "Instructions of the ordeigned Ambassador to the Present unto his Ma[jes]tie at his first Comming," July 25, 1592 (leaves 1-2) followed by "Certaine Articles of treaties w[i]th fraunce," 1564 (leaves 3-6). Remainder of volume is copies of letters written by and to Henry Unton, Queen Elizabeth, William Burghley, Robert Cecil, and Robert Essex, among others, from July 1592 to April 1593, all relating to Henry Unton's diplomatic mission to France to meet with Henry IV.
