Chiefly manuscript notes of additions for a revised edition of Nungezer's A dictionary of actors ... , that had been interleaved alphabetically in the volume. Also includes some clippings. (7) and (8) are typed letters signed from Edwin Nungezer, Ithaca, New York, to W.J. Lawrence, London, dated June 14, 1938 and September 3, 1938 respectively. Both concern Nungezer's work on a second edition of his book. (12) is an autograph letter signed from C.J. Sisson, London, to Mr. Lawrence dated 10/12/29. Sisson thanks Lawrence for his review of Nungezer's book. Date range of items based on year volume was published and the year it was acquired by the Folger Shakespeare Library.
