Recipients: The Managers of Drury Lane, B. Booth, C. Cibber, or R. Wilks; and [Edward] Chetwyn[d]. (1) Cropped letter to the Managers, Oct. 19, 1722, gives notice that Rich has entertained John Ward and Henrietta Maria Morgan as actors, witnesses Thomas Wood and J. Brook. (2) Letter to Chetwynd, March 16, 1753, is a cover letter submitting the Englishman in Paris [by S. Foote] (no longer present) for the Duke of Grafton's approval.
