Summary
The rich man lies in a luxurious bed surrounded by doctors, servants, and lamenting women. In the foreground, to viewer's left, a chest full of coins and precious objects. Two scenes through windows in the background: to the viewer's left, the body of Lazarus and his soul being carried up to heaven by angels; to the right, the magnificent funeral of the rich man and his soul being taken away by the devil. In the lower margin, two columns of text, each four lines "Ut nil tam ... atque Deo."
