Scope and content
These quotations all appear in Benson's edition of Shakespeare's Poems, 1640, and may have been taken from it. Also, a quotation from The nymph's reply, usually attributed to Raleigh.
Note
Written on the inside the back cover of an early 17th century calf binding on board. This cover from an unknown work is then bound in a 19th century binding.
