Scope and content
Copies of 1602 agreement with royal household officials about purveyance, and of local arrangements compounding for a general tax in the county. Some accounts of sums collected from 1615 to 1628 (the collector for 1628 being Sir Edward Dering). In other hands: receipt of 1700 for wood sold, and table of increases in the composition from 1616 to 1640.
