Prohibition issued by Archpriest William Harrison, forbidding Catholic secular priests in England to attend plays acted by common players on common stages, without special license. Thomas Leke's letter of protest to the Archpriest, April 25, 1618 (leaf 4); and the answer to it justifying the prohibition (leaf 9-89).
