Copy of 1684 pedigree. Also includes: 1) Pedigree of the Dering family of Surrenden Dering, Kent, compiled by Sir William Woods, Clarencieux King of Arms in 1838, with additions to 1894, which include pedigrees of the Gambier family and the Mainwaring forbears of Charlotte, Countess of Leicester, 1785, notes on the Derings of Baddesley Clinton, Warwickshire, the Ferrers, and the Orpens, an autograph letter from J.E. Gambier, 2 autograph letters and a copy from the Rev. Henry Norris of Tamworth (who later published a book on Baddesley Clinton and the Ferrers), undated, 1890-1894, and an autograph letter from John, Bishop of Portsmouth, 1894. The pedigrees were largely compiled by interested members of the families and give the coats of arms in trick. 2) Coats of arms in trick of families from some of the deaneries in Gloucestershire, ca. 1675.
