(1), written from Covent Garden Theatrical Fund to Mrs. Honner, indicates he hopes all is prosperous with her and adds "C.G. very indifferent indeed - we hope for better times." (2), written from the Royal Princesses Theatre to Lloyd, indicates that he does not remember the name of a gentleman that the recipient mentioned to him on Tuesday.
