Scope and content
List of contents (see latter part) suggests a fuller account was intended. The numbers in this list do not correspond either to chapter numbers or folio numbers. There are many diagrams of troop formations. Some of the contents correspond fairly closely to later English works on military tactics, e.g. Thomas Styward's The pathway to martial discipline, 1581, and William Garrard's The art of war, 1591.
Note
