Scope and content
An account of Kean's friendship with Jack Thurtell, who was executed for murder. At the bottom of the statement, the following note: "From Mr. Gifford to Mr. Saker, an original fact, for his scrap book. T.R.B., 1836." T.R.B. is possibly the Theatre Royal Bath, where a Mr. Gifford managed the box office. Addressed to Mr. Saker, Royal Pavilion.
