Scope and content
Sermon book of Dorothy Phillips. Includes a note of the sermon preached by Dr. Goodwin at the funeral of Dr. Aires -- probably Henry Airay. Also has cookery, medical, and household recipes, e.g. recipe for black ink (193v). Includes notes on various members of the Hanmer family of Selattyn, Salop, from 1588 to 1722, one of whom married a Dorothy Phillips, in 1652.
