Scope and content
There are several recipes for perfumes near the beginning of the volume and a whole section on dyes, p. 75 of the second series of numbers. One recipe is for "bleatching Lining" (p. 12 of the first series); another is "A medison for the boiurning with Gownpowther in the face," (p. 18 of the third series).
