Letters written from Florence, St. Paul, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Allentown, Hazletown, Pa., Little Rock, and Fort Smith, Ark. Letters include information about Salvini's schedule and proposals for casting and salary. Frequent references to plays in Salvini's repetoire (Don Caesar de Bazan, The three guardsmen, and Monte Cristo among them. (10) includes casting and salaries of actors for Hamlet. (14) consists of typescript notes and press releases, in French, from W.M. Wilkison. (15), in Italian, is an autograph letter signed from Jarro, written on letterhead of La nazione, Firenze. (16), from Evelyn Greenleaf Sutherland to Wilkinson, and (17), Wilkinson's response to Sutherland, mention Salvini's death. (18) consists of newspaper clippings: an interview with Alessandro Salvini about his Othello and that of his father, a brief article on Wilkison, and several obituary notices of Alessandro Salvini.
