Signed "Hamlet." Wishes recipient "had done illuminating Shakespeare and the present time that [he] might attend more than [he does] to Bardlings like [himself]." There are passing mentions of many well-known figures at the end of this letter, including Doctor Johnson, Mr. Boswell, Mrs. Piozzi, Mr. Pickett, et al. Parodies Shylock.
