Letter is addressed "Monsieur." Rachel has not thought of Lucrèce; she does not believe there is any question of playing this work before next year. Also concerns a play of Mr. Scribe and dealings with Mr. Buloz.

Letter is in French.

This letter probably dates from the 1840s, when Lucrèce was first produced (1843) and Buloz was chief administrator of the Comédie-Française (1838-1848).
