There are two issues of the 1709 works printed on ordinary paper in 6 volumes. This is the first issue, where v. 1, leaf A1, the armorial headpiece is present and signature A is under the 'G' of "Goodness"; v. 6, signature A4 is under "here." See Ford p. 10-11 for a full description of differences between the two issues.

Two sections from t.p., apparently an autograph, surrounding "The" in the title removed; paper repaired. Bound in polished speckled calf, rebacked, with marbled endpapers, gilt edges, blind-tooled turn-ins, and red leather spine labels; bound uniformly and shelved with volume the 7th of the 1710 Curll publication (cataloged separately).
