(1) Addressed from Villa Bordighiera, New Southgate, London and dated July 15, 1883. Massey asks Edwards for a copy of the chief heads of the notices he wrote for the "News-letter;" (2) Addressed from care of H.N.F. Lewis, Western Rural, 40 W. Madison Street, Chicago and dated February 24. Discusses terms for lectures he could give; (3) Addressed from Villa Bordighiera, New Southgate, London and dated January 13, 1886; to Edwards; discusses visiting "the colonies" for 21 months, where he got malaria and dyspepsia. With two clippings of portraits of Massey and one printed advertisement for a future republication of the Secret drama of Shakespeare's sonnets by Massey (housed with Y.c.3882 (3)). Recipient is possibly Henry Stillwell Edwards.
