The letters discuss Knowles' financial difficulties, plays he is writing, his bad health and Macready's work. One letter mentions Mr. [Thomas Noon?] Talfourd. One item is a sheet with two clippings, one pasted on the recto and one on the verso. One clipping is a print of Knowles and the other is an article about Knowles. Letters are addressed to and from London and Belfast.
Note
One letter is one leaf, others are bifolia with integral address leaves. The letters each contain holes, tears and various pencil notations in another hand.
