Penciled-in note in another hand at the top of the first leaf: Jervis McEntee to W.W. Refers to W's comments re. attacks made upon Booth (particularly in N.Y. Ev. Post) when, at the Academy of Music, he fell while acting with Salvini, he was accused of being drunk. McEntee refers to in this letter, which Winter had mentioned in his notice of "Hamlet" in the Tribune.
