Fan-mail. Numerous references to her unsurpassed acting, particularly in the role of Juliet, both in England and the United States. Also, a few letters to her husband, Philip Henry Lee from various correspondents, poems, printed programs of her Readings, 1870 (leaf 16, 17, 19), a copy of a newspaper criticism (leaf 17), a playbill, 1870 (leaf 19), and a draft of her farewell speech on leaving St. Louis, Mo., [December 1874], (leaf 30).
