Scope and content
(1), an undated statement (ca. 1750) sent to Sir Peter Thompson, is an account of his financial dealings with the Earl of Oxford. (2), a letter to Thompson dated May 11, 1755, refers to his receiving his patent [for the post of Norroy king-at-arms] and asks for money for his Herald's coat.
