(1-26) are letters from Theobald to Isaac Hull Platt, mostly concerning the Bacon-Shakespeare authorship controversy; (8) and (27) are letter fragments; (28)-(32) are postcards from Theobald to Platt; (33) a letter fragment addressed "My dear Doctor" (presumably R.M. Theobald?) from an unidentified correspondent, dated Nov. 26, 1905; (34) an offprint in German of Desdner Gesellschaft für neuere Philogie dated 11 November 1907; (35) a poem entitled Victory in an unidentified hand. First line: Not to have worn the laurels of success; (36) a poem entitled Pilgrimage in an unidentified hand. First line: Beneath the skies a mirror lies; (37) a typescript draft with manuscript corrections entitled "Editorial Preface" to The classical element in the Shakespeare plays, edited by Theobald (5p.); a typescript entitled "A Bakespeare Comedy," concerning Charles Crawford's Collectanea, a letter from Theobald to Crawford and Crawford's reply to the letter (6p.)
