Scope and content
Correspondents: Alfred B[enjamin] Cooper, F[rederick] G[ard] Fleay and J[ohn] W[illiam] Jarvis. Letter (1) to Cooper uses quotes from the Winter's Tale. (3) to Fleay mentions Troilus and Cressida and Twelfth night. (5-6) to Jarvis discuss Hales and other members of the New Shakspere Society, such as [Alexander Balloch?] Grosart, Morley and Wright, withdrawing from it due to Furnivall's unjustifiable attack on Halliwell-Phillipps on which the society would not take action.
