Scope and content
Contains the elegies of Tibullus followed by an epitaph on Tibullus attributed to Ovid; an encomium on Tibullus' life. Also includes an autograph letter signed from Sydney Cockerell, Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge, to Charles Butler, February 4, 1909 concerning the manuscript (in envelope attached to inside back cover).

Layout: Written in 20 long lines (dimensions of written space: 105 x 70 mm); hardpoint ruling; each line drawn separately; notes on leaves 1v and 2r.
Script: Written in an Italian Cursive hand.
Decorations: Gold, red, blue and green illuminated border, with a coat of arms (partially removed) on leaf 3r.
Decoration: Illuminated initials on leaves 3r, 23v, and 35r; alternating gold and blue initials throughout; initial on leaf 7v cut out.
