Layout: Written in 23 to 24 long lines (dimensions of written space: 155 x 90 mm); below line; framed-ruled in lead with double inner and outer vertical bounding lines; continuous glossed commentary ruled in outer and inner columns. Continuous glossed commentary on both sides of the main column and at the foot of each leaf; continuous interlinear notes with a few manicules throughout.
Script: Carefully written in an Italian Gothic "Rotunda" hand.
Decoration: Decorated zoomorphic initial (pelican with a fish) on leaf 3r.
Decoration: Penwork initials in red and gold on leaves 3r to 34v.
Origin: Italy, late 14th century (de Ricci).
