Scope and content
Includes medicinal recipes and one for fattening fowl. Lettice Pudsey acknowledges the sources of some of her recipes and these suggest that she may have belonged to the Pudsey family of Seisdon, Staffordshire. There are also some additions by W. Oldfeld, E. Jackson (front cover and inside back cover) and a few others.
