Description
2 leaves ; 23 x 19 cm

Scope and content
Reynolds perceives that Macready does not at all like the part of Ribemonte. He goes on to write that all the first rate actors of former times all willingly played Philaster. Also, "the scene between Bellario and Philaster in act 2 is almost as well known as any fine scene in Shakespeare." If the part annoys Macready, he should see Price tomorrow and fairly state his feelings.
Note
Bifolium. Includes integral address leaf addressed to Macready (no street address included). The year 1825 is penciled-in in another hand, but Macready played the role of Ribemonte in 1828.
