Scope and content
Written by P. [Senisaty?], an amanuensis. The Duke of Somerset thanks Boaden for sending a copy of his work and he is glad that he had the opportunity to show him the original portrait of Shakespeare.
Note
The portrait mentioned in this letter is the so-called Janssen portrait of Shakespeare, now FPs17 in the collection of the Folger Shakespeare Library.
