Among the poets are: Ben Jonson, Andrew Marvell, the Earl of Rochester [John Wilmot], John Thomas, Abel Roper, Abraham Cowley, Matthew Prior (see leaves 112r, 132v and reference to him on leaf 120r), Jonathan Swift, Colley Cibber, Edmund Waller, Thomas D'Urfey, Sir Roger L'Estrange, and William Davenant. Also, a receipt against the plague; Will (poem) of Matthew A-y of Cambridge in New England, December 30, 1731, "To my dear wife" (leaf 113v); manuscript copy of the illustrated title page of John Taylor's Mad fashions, od fashions, all out fashions from 1642 (leaf 74), and other items. Leaf 157v appears to be in a child's hand.
