Notes on Shakespeare biography [manuscript], ca. 1862.

This notebook is divided into three parts: "Old Theatres," "Shakespeare-Data," and "Posthumous Data," the last division being concerned with tributes and allusions to Shakespeare of the 17th and 18th century and Shakespearean scholarship.

An untidy manuscript with leaves missing from the beginning and the end. The date is derived from the fact that the most recent among works referred to are three journals, The Canadian churchman, The illustrated London news, and The temple bar magazine all of 1862 (p. 96, 169, 171 and 175).
