A continuation, to 1603, in J.P. Collier's autograph, of the Extracts from the registers of The Stationers' company, 2 v. (the Shakespeare Society, 1848-49), which covered from 1557-1587. Watermarks dated 1845 and numbering of leaves suggest that the whole transcript, 1557-1603, was made at one time. That the publication of the present continuation was projected is shown by a note: "This is to be p 1 of the new Vol."
