(7) quotes a passage from a letter by J.P. Collier. (46) mentions an article in the Athenaeum (Feb. 27, 1864) which discusses the meaning of a line in King Henry VI. (67) discusses Dixon's views as quoted in the Athenaeum (Jan. 23, 1869) referring to Sir John Oldcastle and the reason why Shakespeare changed his name to Falstaff in his play. (76) quotes a note (ca. 1630) that Gorhamburg (Goringheberry) was called Bacon's folly.
