Standard chromolithographed postcard entitled "Shakespeare's Cottage, Stratford-on-Avon" and published by E.T.W. Dennis & Sons in London pasted to commercial backing labeled "The Pocket Novelty Card." Flap cut in postcard lifts to reveal accordion-folded strip of 12 black-and-white half-tone photographs of Stratford. Image on postcard signed "Warrern Williams" in lower left.
The cards in this Pocket Novelty series have a flap on the front, with a pull-out strip of 12 small views of a place (here Stratford-on-Avon) behind the flap.
