Illustrations: numerous woodcuts, comprising one on title page, a half-page cut on prelim. leaf [7]v, a large battle scene following leaf 13 (with monogram NI), many coats of arms, and 2 portraits (Stephen Bathory, King of Poland, and Murad III, Sultan of Turkey). It was suggested in Nagler: Monogrammisten, IV, 2430 that N I was a Johann Nel or Nell.
