Note
Dark metal round-top casket . Side of top flanked with decorative strips with cut-away geometric patterns. Two solid strips have handle attached at top and hinges at lid's edge. Both tabs attached to hinges appear to be broken. The proper left may have had a metal ring on the back that inserted into a hole in the box's body and a lever mechanism inside slid into the loop to lock the box. The key hole and locking mechanism are on the proper right, key is missing.
Box contains unidentified circular piece of wood with evidence of pest activity, an unidentified square shaped piece of metal, but severed at one corner, a hair pin and a modern screw.
