Circular medallion of Queen Elizabeth I. Obverse: encircling the outer edge: "Elizabeth dei gracia Anglie Francie et Hibernie Regina Fidei Defensor". Elizabeth holds a scepter in her proper right hand and an orb in her proper left hand while seated on a throne. Coat of arms on either side of figure encircled by "Honi So[it] Qui Mal Y Pense". Reverse: Elizabeth on horseback riding across a flowering field. To the left of her head, a Tudor rose; to the right, the Fleur-de-lys of France and the Harp of Ireland.

Obverse only. Portion of border missing proper left of Elizabeth's head. Small hole above her head hold two tags; one reads "213" and the other "case 614". Back labeled "Eliza[beth]" with unknown marker. Typed label covers "beth" and reads: "Case 614. Bronze Medallion. Elizabeth I."

Obverse only. Gilt bronze, framed. Gift of Mrs. Francis T.P. Plimpton. Backing board inscribed "Bought at Colonna Sale, April 26, 1913" and "Gilt bronze bas-relief of Queen Elizabeth on the throne. A bronze casting en [sic] 'cire perdue' of the Great Seal of which only a few examples were made and given to persons of [illegible... perhaps 'Taste'?]."
