Regarding current writing assignments. Postscript refers to his pleasure with a portrait of Shakespeare. First sentence: "Oppressed, as I am, with anxiety to proceed with my Auto-Biography, which has been suspended for the last three months, to allow a little respite & relaxation, for the over-work'd head: & desirous, as I am, of finishing the remaining part, in style & manner, corresponding with the preceeding pages, I am sorry to say that I cannot undertake to write accounts of the Cathedrals & cities of Ely & Peterborough, in a manner that should do credit to the author, & the proprietor of a work, who risques capital & character on a literary work."
