Scope and content
Disputing the identification of a bust as Shakespeare. "I do not believe in the authenticity of the hideous statuette purporting to be a portrait of Shakespeare. Many of the things exhibited 'by direction of Thomas Hart' were fakes-and if it were a genuine thing, it could never have got into 'an old lady's store-cupboard.' Be quite easy about it! And don't with your 5 pounds!" Letter addressed "Dear Sir."
