Summary
Notes made chapter by chapter. The compiler describes his notes as, "From the memorial of Great Britain's antiquities, but abstracted from the secular spleen raised against the Arbor Benedict." Near the end he summarizes his views on the work, "the author does not do what he set out to do . . ." He also quotes from Gonzalo de Illescas' Historia pontifical, y catholica, at the end.
