Most line items for wages (of clerks and keeper of the plug; boatswains, carpenters, cooks, etc. aboard ships; and house carpenters and watchmen in timberyards), signed by Sir Fulke Greville, Sir Henry Palmer, Hugh Lydiard (Lydyard), John Trevor, Benjamin Gonson, Peter Buck, and Philip Ellis. (5) also includes charges for iron works employed upon ships as well as "for rozen, brimstone, and oth[e]r provisions of like kinde for these the same shipps and for extraordinarie work doune in the same."
