Note
Uncorrected design.
David Loggan initially sent 200 copies of a bookplate unsolicited "as a small Niew yaers Gift or a aknowledgment in part for all your favors", but omitted the 'bloody hand of Ulster' and depicted the wrong helmet, thereby leaving Isham an esquire rather than a baronet. Isham pointed this out, and Loggan provided him with a completely new plate. Information taken from lot description (Hardy, pp. 9-11).
