Received the [29th] day of [September] 167[5] of [Mr. Jo[h]n Chapman] Inhabitant in the Ward of [Broadstreett] London, the Sum of [six shillings eight pens] being so much charged upon him for the Landlord of his house for one months Tax for one year, to be accompted from Christmas, 1670 [corrected in manuscript to read 1674] towards payment and satisfaction of the money in arrear to the Officers of the Trained Bands of the same City for Duties and Trophies, &c.
