Note
Title from item.
State and plate mark dimensions from New Hollstein.
According to New Hollstein, from a series of river views of Germany and the low countries made in 1643, when Hollar was active in London.
Pennington suggests that these etchings are probably based on drawings circa 1632 when Hollar seems to have made a journey up the Rhine from Cologne.
