Summary
In right foreground is a 2-masted galley sailing to left into a huge wave in a heavy rain storm. It has a high, decorated poop, and is lateen-rigged and with 20 oars on each side. On the crest of a wave in center is a merchant ship sailing away. Three other ships in distance. --Pennington.
