The text is engraved throughout; it comprises a titlepage as initial unnumbered leaf before illustrations (leaf 1 of 32 leaves at the beginning); the same titlepage is also bound as p. [1] in front of the 20 numbered plates of text.
ESTC staff note
Date from Foxon who states that Sturt was still in Red Cross Street on 10 December 1702, but is recorded at the Golden Lion by 25 March 1706; GK55 gives date as [1694?]. Deleted from Wing (2nd ed. 1994). In L copy "To which is added" in the title has been erased; assumed from the [1730?] ed. Part of the imprint has also been erased, possibly removing "20" before "plates"? Cf. t131802 for a reimpression of the text with different borders and the addition of illustrations
