Concerning the disputed election of 1727, which led to the double return of James Worsley and Thomas Holmes, and Charles Armand Powlett and Sir John Barrington. The election of Worsley and Holmes was initially confirmed by Parliament, but subsequently overturned, on petition, in favour of Powlett and Barrington in April 1729.

Lg date as c. 1730, but it is clear from the textual context that this was written as part of the attempt to reverse the result of the 1727 election, as the latest incidents referred to are irregularities in checking the qualifications of burgesses during the poll (p. 3). Thus, it is more likely to have been written either late in 1728, or early in 1729
