The 1st plate has imprint as above and has been cropped and mounted; the other plates are probably later states since the 3rd plate has imprint: London printed and sould by P. Stent, [c. 1645]; the rest have no imprint, and 2 have the verses erased from the plate. The title supplied above is written on the book's spine. -- STC.

First engraving has been cropped and mounted; verse erased on 4th and 10th engravings; bound at end is an engraving without verse from another series, lettered at top 'f.1' and initialed 'RP'. Provenance: probably Sir John St. Aubyn copy
