Discovery or declaration. : That the judgement in behalf of the fundamental deliverance of the poor and afflicted, the faithul [sic] and elect, is not at all to begin with the Pope of Rome; but from the house of God or His sanctuary; for which cause also God shall cut off both head and tail, both branch and stock in one day. The honourable ancient men are the head; but the prophets that teach falsly are the tayle; for the leaders of the people are seducers, and they which are lead by them perish: therefore shall the Lord with his fore, great, and long sword, visit both the leviathan, that is, a streight serpent, and the leviathan, that is, a crooked, and slay the dragon in the sea. Concerning, the heads, judges, or governors in Holland and England, as who do build Zion with blood, and overthrow the decree and judgement of God, about the fundamental destruction of the whore of Babylon; yea, do all they can by their designs, humane councels and devices, utterly to disanul the eternal counsel of God in that behalf, Psal. 33.
