"The sinfulnesse of sinne" has separate title page with imprint "London, imprinted by Richard Bishop, for Robert Bostocke, 1639"; "The life of Christ: or The fellovvship of the saints with him" has separate dated title page with imprint "London, imprinted by Tho. Badger, for Robert Bostocke, 1640"; pagination and register for both parts are continuous.
Printer's name conjectured from separately dated title page for "The sinfulnesse of sinne".
Gathered in 8s; horizontal chain lines.
A reissue, with A1,2 cancelled and replaced with a new title page dated 1642. The original issue must have been printed ca. 1640 to allow for internal title pages dated 1639 and 1640. However, a 1640 edition is not reported in STC, and the earliest edition reported in Wing is the one being catalogued here.
